Zulfiqar Babar (Cricketer) 
He made his debut in 2013 against South Africa. Zulfiqar Babar is a left arm spinner and right hand batsman. Till now he has played 13 Test matches and took 51 wickets and played 5 one day internationals with 4 wickets. He also took 12 wickets in 7, T/20 matches. In first class cricket he took 420 wickets and scored 1681 runs. For Pakistan, he has taken 91 wickets and scored 486 runs.
Aslam Kolsri (Poet) 
Aslam Kolsri is considered a credible reference to poetry and journalism, wherever Urdu is spoken and understood throughout the world, including Pakistan. Aslam Kolsari was born on 1st Aug 1946 in Jammar, Okara, Pakistan. Initially, he started working in the Jamia Madina Primary School, Okara. Then he joined Sutlej Cotton Mills Okara. For a long time he also worked in Irfan Pharmacy Okara. During his job, he completed F.A in 1969, B.A in 1971 and M.A Urdu in 1974. He started his career as a laboratory supervisor and moved to Lahore where he worked for a newspaper ‘Mashriq’. Aslam also served the Urdu Science Board as a research officer and rose to the position of deputy director. He has authored various poetry collections including Kaash, Neend, Barsat, Veeran, Jeewan, Kaif, Panchi, etc. ‘Khandar Mein Chirag’, ‘Zakhmi Gulab’, ‘Anokhey Shikari’ and ‘Chand Ke Uss Paar’ are some of his popular stories written for the children. Kolsari died on 7th Nov 2016 in Lahore.
